Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Hospitalist to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal medicine and experience managing complex inpatients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality patient care on a hospitalist-led inpatient service, including admission and management of patients in the intensive care unit.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient throughput.
Work effectively with the extended inter-professional team to achieve service coverage 24/7.

Requirements:

Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine.
Direct experience managing complex inpatients.
Competency in standard inpatient procedures.
A solid understanding of the hospitalist role and function.
Experience working in a diverse environment or commitment to do so.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team, providing effective communication.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
