STATUS: Part-time

DEPARTMENT: Fine Arts

REPORTS TO: Department Chair

COMPENSATION: Minimum pay rate of $14.00 per hour.

(This position is eligible for Federal Work Study)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support the implementation of designs for theatre productions.
2. Assist in staffing for musical events and rentals.
3. Help manage front-of-house operations for productions and concerts.
4. Perform administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and photocopying.
5. Carry out additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher and be in good academic standing.
2. Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
3. Experience with hand and power tools is preferred.
4. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
5. Attention to detail in financial transactions.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
7. Flexibility in scheduling, with availability for evenings and weekends.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Previous experience in a theatrical setting.
2. Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
3. Students interested in pursuing a career in theatre are encouraged to apply.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Duties are primarily performed indoors.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: This is a student employment position designed to accommodate your class schedule. Up to 20 hours per week during the academic semesters. During breaks, may work up to 28 hours per week with supervisor approval.
