About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Goodyear. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:

  • Mounting and balancing tires
  • Performing oil changes
  • Conducting additional automotive preventative maintenance

You will work closely with our experienced technicians to learn and develop your skills, and will have the opportunity to advance your career with our company.

Responsibilities

As an Automotive Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent guest service, including clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles
  • Promoting teamwork to deliver on guest expectations
  • Maintaining strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
  • Performing a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
  • Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions
  • Display a commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry
  • Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or Previous formal automotive training
