About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our Security and Compliance products team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality platform capabilities that meet the security, compliance, and employee experience requirements of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mission-critical projects and deliver platform capabilities end-to-end with high quality
  • Have clear ownership of one or many products or platform spaces
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to drive product development and innovation
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive product development and improvement
  • Build and grow your engineering skills in different challenging areas and solve hard technical problems
  • Influence architecture, technology selections, and trends of the whole company

Qualifications:

  • A minimum 8 years of professional work experience as a backend engineer
  • Proficient in Python, Django, and MongoDB
  • Experience building large-scale user-facing applications and developer tools
  • Expertise in building complex distributed services with high availability and strict SLAs
  • Strong CS fundamentals and knowledge of architecture and common design patterns
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Passionate about being in a product-focused environment where everyone cares deeply about customer impact
