Job Description:
We are seeking an Administrative Specialist to join our team at the City of Raleigh, NC. This role will involve providing administrative support to one or more professional staff members or a specific department function.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing recruitment support by posting job vacancies, coordinating interview schedules, and maintaining hiring documentation.
- Assisting with payroll efforts to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, and auditing weekly timesheets for accuracy.
- Performing receptionist duties, managing data entry, and drafting professional correspondence.
- Compiling data for reports, creating and editing complex documents, and developing streamlined office procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, and four years of related clerical and/or office support experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask, as well as experience with payroll systems, recruitment processes, and administrative tasks.

Benefits and Compensation:
This position is estimated to pay between $42,027 and $64,326 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
