Job Summary

As a Digital Product Manager at Highmark Health, you will play a pivotal role in representing the customer's voice throughout the product development lifecycle. You will establish and evangelize the vision and strategy for the Login & Registration experience for members, ensuring that it meets the needs of customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive increased member engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Familiarize yourself with customer digital journeys, preferences, and expectations. Identify problem areas, points of friction, and jobs to be done. Create and test hypotheses that translate problems into relevant digital solutions and experiences.
  • Serve as the point of contact for assigned digital products both internally and externally.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies, market trends, and vendor capabilities. Reference the inventory of existing digital capabilities and determine whether they can solve identified problems or if new capabilities are needed. Participate in build, buy, or partner evaluations and vendor integration evaluations in collaboration with digital design, digital development, and other stakeholders.
  • Define, track, and monitor key performance indicators and outcomes of digital products. Implement strategies to iterate and continuously improve performance of digital products. Leverage quantitative metrics and qualitative observations to derive customer insights and digital product improvement opportunities.
  • Familiarize yourself with the department's and the company's strategy and competitive position. Develop a holistic product vision and the corresponding product strategy to drive maximum value. Clearly set and communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions across audiences, from product team to key stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of digital products/tools as assigned. Manage the digital product roadmap and backlog and use input from customers and internal stakeholders to frequently refresh and re-prioritize the backlog.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers to ensure cross-product alignment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science, Technology, Design, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • 3 years of Digital Product Management experience.
  • 2 years in the Healthcare Industry.
  • Preferred: 3 years with Agile Software Development Methodology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business, Science, Technology, Design, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Product Manager Certification.
Skills
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision with a high degree of organization and attention to detail; manage multiple simultaneous tasks, assignments, deadlines, and produce results; and be a results-oriented team player who leads by example, holds self-accountable for performance, takes ownership, and champions all aspects of product initiatives.
  • Proven track record of defining product requirements and launching successful products on schedule.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, from planning to delivery.
  • Ability to lead and influence others within a matrixed organization, and lead with a true sense of urgency with the ability to engage the workforce to do the right thing every time for our customers and clinicians; lead with a customer and clinician-centric lens and advocate for a combined customer and clinician view in all interactions.
  • Successfully partner through collaboration and sense of urgency regarding process implementation and improvement/optimization.
  • Experience using sketches, flow diagrams, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, customer experience blueprints, and visual concepts.
  • Conflict Management.

Pay Range

$78,900.00 - $146,000.00.
