Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Enrollment Navigator to join our Student Support Services STEM (SSS–STEM) Program. The primary role of the Enrollment Navigator is to facilitate the enrollment process for program participants while providing continuous support and resources aimed at enhancing academic preparedness and achievement.

The Enrollment Navigator will play a crucial role in ensuring that participants feel integrated into both the program and the college environment, fostering a supportive atmosphere conducive to personal development. This position reports directly to the Director of Student Support Services–STEM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the SSS–STEM Director to design and execute effective strategies for identifying and recruiting eligible program participants.
  • Evaluate student applications to determine eligibility for interviews by assessing their academic and support needs.
  • Assist with the intake process, student advisement, registration, and coordination of various events, including summer programs.
  • Engage in proactive outreach to maintain regular communication with students, connecting them to college and community resources for additional assistance.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of student needs, interactions, and data relevant to the objectives of the Student Support Services–STEM.
  • Facilitate workshops focused on enhancing student success.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related discipline is required.
  • At least one year of experience in higher education, specifically working with students.
  • Strong technology, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal, written, and interpersonal contexts as part of an administrative team.
  • Must demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
