Key Responsibilities:


Deliver engineering, geological, and technical guidance to the oil, gas, and mineral division in managing oil, gas, and mineral resources. This includes preparing net income forecasts and fair market value assessments (either in-house or via third parties); reviewing joint interest billings; assessing authority for expenditures (AFEs), and providing recommendations and consultation with designated asset managers; evaluating and providing insights on joint operating agreements, unitization agreements, and farmout agreements.

Additionally, you will inspect working interest operations on assigned assets and address environmental considerations related to them; where appropriate, you will liaise with well operators to address any identified environmental concerns.

You should be proficient in utilizing PHDWin reserve and economic software, possess excellent Microsoft Office capabilities, and demonstrate strong presentation and communication skills.

Collaboration with other professionals (both in-house and external engineering firms) is essential to deliver premier asset management services for clients and the team.


Qualifications:
Degree in Petroleum Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline

Experience in exploration and production with a major or independent oil company

Proficiency in PHDWin reserve and economic software

Familiarity with gathering information from various state oil and gas regulatory bodies

Exceptional presentation skills - clear, relevant, concise, and to the point

Strong general software skills

Experience in oil and gas title and land operations

A proactive and inquisitive mindset for learning and sharing knowledge

Preferred Skills:
Reservoir engineering experience is advantageous, though not mandatory

Licensure as a Professional Engineer is a plus, but not essential

An MBA or experience in financial services is beneficial, but not required
