Key Responsibilities:
  • Support opening and closing procedures, including restocking the bar with necessary supplies such as garnishes, straws, and napkins, and ensuring Bartenders have clean towels and glassware.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of ice, liquor, wine, and beer at the bar.
  • Regularly check taps and equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly, performing minor repairs or changing kegs as required.
  • Keep the bar area tidy by cleaning surfaces, sweeping and mopping floors, removing dirty glassware, scrubbing coolers, and disposing of trash.
  • Familiarize yourself with menu offerings and memorize cocktail recipes.
  • Assist in taking orders, preparing drinks, clearing tables, opening tabs, and processing payments, particularly during busy periods.
  • Engage with customers, respond to inquiries, and address any complaints professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records and report inventory levels to aid in the reordering process, ensuring proper storage of delivered items.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a courteous and friendly demeanor with a professional appearance.
  • Knowledgeable about menu items, including various beers, wines, cocktails, and liquors.
  • Basic math and computer proficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage challenging situations calmly.
  • Detail-oriented and thorough in your work.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, and lifting heavy items for extended periods, as well as working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
