Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to undertake travel assignments, providing essential imaging services in various healthcare settings.

Certification Requirements
  • ARRT (MR) certification is mandatory.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Contract Details
  • Duration: 13-week contract.
  • Specialty focus: MRI - 160.
Job Responsibilities
  • Possession of ARRT and BLS certifications is essential.
  • Experience in Routine Neuro, MSK, and Abdominal Imaging is required.
  • Specialty imaging expertise in cardiac, prostate, and breast imaging is preferred.
  • Ability to initiate IVs as necessary for the department.
Work Schedule
  • Weekday shifts: 8:30 AM to 10:30 PM.
  • Weekend shifts: 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
  • No self-scheduling available.
  • Positions available for full weekend coverage and weekday shifts.
Unit Information
  • Average scans/studies per day: Weekday average of 52, Weekend average of 27.
  • Utilization of EMR/PACS: EPIC and Synapse.
  • Department equipment includes Siemens systems.
  • No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs) utilized.
Additional Information
  • Weekend work is a requirement.
  • No holiday work is expected.
  • No call or standby duties are required.
  • Dress code: Navy Blue scrubs will be provided.
  • Orientation specific to the department will be provided.
