Position Summary: (10 pm to 6 am)

As a Radiopharmaceutical Production Technician, you will be integral to the operations of our facility's cyclotron, focusing on the production and quality control of PET radiopharmaceuticals. This role includes the maintenance and repair of essential equipment, such as chemistry modules and analytical devices. You will also assist in facility upkeep, system repairs, preventive maintenance, and modifications to enhance your technical skills and ensure operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on synthesis modules and analytical instruments.
  • Oversee the production and Quality Control (QC) of PET radiopharmaceuticals in a cGMP environment.
  • Manage routine production, packaging, and distribution of radioisotopes.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies, including cGMP and radiation safety protocols.
  • Maintain comprehensive records to comply with FDA regulations.
  • Procure parts and supplies necessary for maintenance and production activities.
  • Keep production areas clean and organized.

Qualifications:

  • Educational background in chemistry, engineering, or electronic technology; or completion of advanced military electronics training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in electrical or mechanical engineering, medical equipment services, or a related field. Pharmacy technician certification is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with ionizing radiation and radioactive equipment is preferred.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP regulations and practices.
