Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Building Engineer to join our team in Toledo, Ohio. This position will be responsible for the operation, inspection, and maintenance of all commercial building equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pump, fire, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and Company mandates related to building operations and work safety.
  • Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, interior/exterior repair, and related grounds-keeping.
  • Inspect building HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities.
  • Perform assigned repairs, emergency, and preventative maintenance.
  • Respond in a timely manner to emergency requests and coordinates outside assistance as needed.
  • Review historical maintenance records to develop and implement proactive inspection and maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of five years of commercial building maintenance experience and HVAC certification is required.
  • The position involves the operation of company vehicles, and a valid driver's license is required.
