Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced industrial maintenance electrician to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks on our coating lines, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues up to 480v.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks on coating lines, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues up to 480v.
  • Perform mechanical repairs on machinery, including coating rooms, ovens, incinerators, slitter lines, upenders, conveyor lines, and shrink wrap machines.
  • Responsible for basic machining using Bridgeports Mills and Lathes.
  • Conduct building maintenance tasks such as painting and plumbing.
  • Perform MIG and Stick welding on mild/cold rolled steel.
  • Install machinery and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.

Work Environment:

Our coating steel coils for the food industry, and we have two openings available. The current working hours are 3 AM to 3 PM or 3 PM to 3 AM, and we expect to work the next 4 to 5 weekends due to preparation for 2025. The average workweek is 40-72 hours, and the pay is $32.47 per hour, with an additional $0.40 for off-shift work. We are a union plant (United Steel Workers).
