Job Summary

We are seeking a strong leader to join our team as a General Manager. As a key member of our Operations leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing operations in assigned locations, managing a portfolio of properties, and developing relationships with property owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee operations in assigned locations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and adherence to Vacasa standards and metrics.
  • Develop and grow relationships with property owners, providing proactive communication and becoming a subject matter expert on their properties.
  • Meet and maintain Vacasa standards and metrics, including NPS, standard unit appearance, and efficiency.
  • Manage a budget for your portfolio, adhering to set annual costs and performing cost-benefit analyses.
  • Lead and manage a high-quality team, ensuring they are trained, effective, and adhere to all Vacasa policies and procedures.
  • Support your team with escalated guest and homeowner concerns, responding to emails, calls, and tickets.
  • Conduct regular inspections prior to guest and owner arrivals.
  • Occasionally perform housekeeping and maintenance duties.
  • Travel between worksites frequently, requiring reliable transportation.
  • Partner with Business Development Representatives to onboard new units.
  • Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with fellow regional team members and upper management.
  • Provide cross-coverage for your manager and Co-GM(s) when necessary.
Requirements
  • Technical computer skills required on all forms of hardware - laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, early mornings, and evenings as needed.
  • Professional communication skills, including email, phone calls, video calls, and texts.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions.
  • Highly responsive and reliable.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Prior housekeeping experience a plus.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the waist, regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist.
