Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Parkview North Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders in adults and children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and evaluate speech, language, and swallowing disorders using standardized tests and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing deficits
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Conduct regular assessments and progress monitoring to evaluate treatment effectiveness
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of employment
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
  • Experience working with adults and children with neurogenic communicative disorders
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and demonstrate knowledge of diagnostic testing instruments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a hospital setting or with a variety of speech/language disturbances
  • Verification of extensive supervised graduate clinical experience
