Business Systems Analyst II

Job Summary

The Business Systems Analyst plays a key role in the CVR Energy, Inc. IT organization. This position requires a diverse background with strong functional skills and comprehension of business processes as well as technical proficiencies. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the urgency of issues and drive tasks to completion. Key responsibilities include providing real-time support to internal business users, managing problem response, triage, and documentation of defects, and communicating remediation. The Business Systems Analyst will also oversee the design and implementation of feeds, data structures, reports, and other technical solutions. Additionally, this role will involve coordinating resolution to incidents, service requests, and minor enhancement requests, as well as serving as a technical lead during application upgrades. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical skills, including development, and be able to establish effective working relationships in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time support to internal business users
• Manage problem response, triage, and documentation of defects
• Communicate remediation to stakeholders
• Oversee the design and implementation of feeds, data structures, reports, and other technical solutions
• Coordinate resolution to incidents, service requests, and minor enhancement requests

Requirements

Working Conditions

This position requires 10% travel to support multiple sites. The successful candidate will also be exposed to work near potentially volatile and combustible materials and chemicals.

Expected Results

The Business Systems Analyst will manage the complex technical delivery of projects from development to on-time and budget ROI meeting desired business outcomes. The ideal candidate will act with a sense of urgency and drive tasks to completion.
