About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Berkshire County Arc. As a LPN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional medical care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A valid driver's license and insured vehicle are also required.

Job Summary:
In this role, you will serve as the primary contact person and coordinator of medical supports for assigned individuals. You will perform medical treatment when necessary, consult with program staff on specific medical interventions, and make referrals for appropriate health care and dental needs if applicable. Additionally, you will perform on-call responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Nursing services.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary contact person and coordinator of medical supports for all assigned individuals
  • Perform medical treatment when necessary

  • Perform on-call responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Nursing services

Requirements:
* Licensed Practical Nurse with at least 2 years' experience
* At least two years working in the field of developmental disabilities preferred
* Valid driver's license and insured vehicle
