We are seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Community Health Network. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will play a critical role in the cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs, providing direct care to patients and ensuring their safe and effective participation in monitored exercise.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation patients, including instruction in monitored exercise and assessment of patient progress.
- Develop and implement individualized exercise plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on healthy lifestyle habits and disease management.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Wellness or related field.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Exercise Physiologist Certified (EPC) certification preferred.
- At least six months of experience in a cardiac rehabilitation facility.
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.
