And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered - and we couldn't do it without you.Make a DifferenceExercise Physiologist provide direct care to cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation patients for restoring functional capacity by assuring safe and appropriate instruction in monitored exercise.Exceptional Skills and QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Wellness, requiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), requiredExercise Physiologist Certified (EPC), preferred Six months of experience in cardiac rehabilitation facility, requiredPossesses advanced knowledge of cardiac/pulmonary anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, dysrhythmias and identification of life threatening electrocardiogram changesKnowledge of role of lifestyle modification in lowering cardiovascular risk factorsAbility to physically facilitate and support patients participating in the rehabilitation program in performance of exercise, by demonstration, as needed Provides instructional activities targeting cardiac and pulmonary risk factor reduction and healthy lifestyle promotionFacilitates psychological adjustment to lifestyle changesPeriodically reviews progress of each participant and adjusts the plan of care accordinglyWhy Community?
