Position Overview
As a Senior Platform Solutions Architect, you will:
- Design and develop the foundational technical platform, capabilities, and services that underpin business operations by analyzing the interconnections between IT platform and infrastructure components.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the programming and enhancement of new and existing technologies in alignment with company standards to meet business requirements or initiatives.
- Conduct technical assessments of intricate software, hardware, and transmission facilities utilizing various diagnostic tools to ensure efficient network operations.
- Assist in architecting new platform capabilities and establishing technical strategies and roadmaps.
- Evaluate the overall security posture of the platform, identifying risks, escalating potential issues, and implementing risk mitigation strategies and controls.
- Provide technical support and direction throughout the project lifecycle in collaboration with development teams and global clients.
- Address complex infrastructure architecture challenges, escalating unique or problematic situations as necessary.
- May engage in financial planning, forecasting, and budget management to optimize resource allocation and minimize total cost of ownership.
Qualifications
- Proven experience collaborating with internal stakeholders across development sectors to facilitate project completion, executing system and platform initiatives, and offering technical counsel to project teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead significant work streams or multiple smaller initiatives within a large domain, often providing technical insights and guidance to team members.
- Experience engaging with the wider technical community to foresee advancements in innovation, often assessing new solutions and advising on future business network requirements.
- Track record of spearheading continuous process improvement initiatives and automation efforts for operational and financial efficiency through the use of tools and technologies.
- Strong analytical skills in evaluating complex software and hardware systems.
- Experience in establishing globally consistent standards by exploring new tools and technologies.
