Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Duct System Technician to join our team at One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning Corporate Store.

About the Job

As a Duct System Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining residential HVAC systems. Your primary goal will be to ensure the systems operate efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, as you will need to analyze the HVAC system within a structure and develop an appropriate cleaning plan. Additionally, you must be able to communicate effectively with customers, providing them with clear information about the services offered.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and knowledge of HVAC parts and their functions is preferred. You must also be able to follow OSHA requirements and safety precautions per company procedures and policies.

Our company offers a competitive salary, with an estimated annual compensation of $55,000 - $65,000 depending on experience and location. We also provide comprehensive benefits, including a 401(k) with company match, company vehicle, training, and room for advancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the HVAC system within a structure and develop an appropriate cleaning plan.
  • System improvement and maintenance suggestions pertaining to the HVAC system to the customer.
  • Quote cleaning prices for residential HVAC projects.
  • Effectively sell additional duct cleaning services and other services.
  • Complete daily paperwork in a timely manner and submit for billing.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Be able to follow OSHA requirements and safety precautions per company procedures and policies.
  • Knowledge of HVAC parts and their functions preferred.
  • Must provide basic hand tools and personal vehicle.
