Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY
The Front Load Truck Operator is responsible for driving a front load vehicle, providing service to clients along a predetermined route as established by Texas Pride Disposal Solutions LLC. The operator will transport waste to designated disposal sites, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Arrive at work punctually in the appropriate company uniform and equipped with necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Verify that the assigned vehicle is fully fueled, safe for operation, and that all required documentation is available before departing.
  • Follow the designated route as outlined in the fleet management software, documenting any changes or issues encountered during the route.
  • Log time accurately in the fleet management system at each customer location.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and submitting the Vehicle Condition Report (VCR).
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while working and driving, providing courteous service to all customers.
  • Be available for scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Monitor personal compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, reporting any potential violations to the supervisor immediately.
  • Notify the supervisor of any traffic violations incurred during work hours at the end of the shift.
  • Report any personal traffic violations or accidents to the supervisor within a 72-hour timeframe.
  • Maintain a valid Medical Card and Driver's License at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience operating front load trucks is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience driving medium or heavy trucks or relevant specialized training.
  • Exhibit strong heavy truck driving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Capable of operating commercial motor vehicles independently.
  • Proficient in basic mathematical functions.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, including understanding traffic signs and responding to inquiries.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License.
  • Clean driving record for the past five years, with no major accidents or traffic violations.
  • Current Medical Card.
