Join Stoke Space as a Propulsion Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Propulsion Engineer to join our team at Stoke Space. As a key member of our engine development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing our next-generation rocket engine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop the engine system layout, including turbomachinery, combustion, thrust chamber, avionics, pneumatics, TVC, and valves.
  • Own the integrated engine CAD model and ensure seamless integration with other components.
  • Develop and maintain robust vehicle interfaces and engine-vehicle installation approaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design and architecture of numerous rocket engine system components and interfaces.
  • Track risks and execute mitigation plans to ensure successful engine development.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in design, build, and testing of rocket engine systems.
  • Extensive experience with CAD tools and configuration management (Siemens NX and Teamcenter preferred).
  • Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals and ability to apply that knowledge in practical ways to a fast-paced development program.
  • Hands-on experience performing fabrication, assembly, and/or testing.
  • Ability to lead and follow, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
