Job Title: Senior Propulsion Engineer

At a.i. solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Propulsion Engineer to join our team supporting the NASA Launch Service Program at Kennedy Space Center. As a key member of our Vehicle Engineering and Analysis (VE&A) department, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the development and implementation of launch vehicle propulsion systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure the development and implementation of launch vehicle propulsion systems meet NASA's requirements and standards.
  • Lead technical assessments of component or system design or test sequence changes, nonconformances, risks, and test or flight anomalies, coordinating with other engineering disciplines as necessary.
  • Support and/or present technical assessments or analysis results at Launch Vehicle mission reviews and Engineering Review Boards.
  • Act as primary liaison between the NASA customer and the launch vehicle provider.
  • Perform post-flight data reviews and support resolution of any identified issues.
  • Provide certification support for new launch service providers/launch vehicles.
  • Support process improvement activities to advance team efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
  • 15 years of experience with launch vehicle propulsion systems or relevant support.
  • Knowledge of space launch vehicle propulsion systems.
  • Obtain successful completion of a government background check.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
