About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities, including maintenance and repair of equipment, systems, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, systems, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Refrigeration Operations: Operate and maintain refrigeration systems, including daily inspections and logs, to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations to ensure employee and facility safety.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; facility maintenance tech school preferred.
  • Experience: Six years of industrial facility and ASRS maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Certifications: Powered Industrial Equipment Certification from Sysco within 3 months; RETA CARO required; RETA CIRO preferred.
