Position Overview:
As a Travel Nurse RN specializing in the Progressive Care Unit, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position requires a dedicated professional with experience in critical care nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the PCU.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in health status.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and recovery processes.
Job Requirements:
- Active Michigan RN License.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those starting in this role on or after January 1, 2017.
- Current AHA or ARC BCLS and ACLS certifications.
- NIHSS certification is preferred.
