Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships and networks to deliver organizational and departmental goals
  • Participate in employee and patient rounding and identify potential future leaders
  • Enforce standards of emergency department care and develop processes to measure compliance
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate an ongoing emergency services program
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policies
  • Oversee a PI program to monitor and evaluate critical aspects of care
  • Ensure departmental operational excellence and quality services
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in emergency services required
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Additional Information

BSN required. MUST have leadership experience. 29 ED Bed + 2 FSEDs (12 Each). 45K visits in the Main ED last year. 35K in both FSEDs combined. 2 Managers will rotate through all 3 locations. Union - SEIU. Reports to Hospital COO. 90 Total FTEs (all 3 locations). Salary Estimate: Min $123,448.00 - Mid $154,315 (Eligible Incentive Bonus of 15%). Sign-On Bonus: Case by Case Basis. Relocation: Case by Case Basis. Fee: $19,000
