Providence Health & Services is seeking a skilled RN - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse to join our team. As a PICU Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage life-sustaining therapies, such as mechanical ventilation and vasopressors.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as arterial blood gases and cardiac rhythms.
- Develop and implement education plans for patients and families.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Alaska Registered Nurse License.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year Nursing experience.
