PICU Nurse Practitioner Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled PICU Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium in Anchorage, Alaska.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced pediatric intensive care unit environment. As a PICU Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill children and their families
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Pediatric Intensive Care
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Alaska
  • Experience working in a pediatric intensive care unit environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
