Providence Alaska Medical Center - A Leader in Pediatric Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a PICU RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to critically ill children and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill children and their families
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage the physical and emotional needs of patients and families
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Alaska Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
  • 1 year Nursing experience
