Position Summary:


We are currently seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our high-volume ophthalmic practice, dedicated to providing quality and compassionate care to every patient requiring comprehensive eye care services.


Key Responsibilities:
This role necessitates strong customer service abilities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a degree of independent decision-making.

Essential Ophthalmic Skills Include:
- Collecting and documenting patient medical history
- Assessing visual acuity
- Conducting automated refraction
- Administering prescribed eye drops, ointments, and irrigating solutions
- Performing office duties and clinical tasks, including data entry into EMR
- Delivering patient services
- Maintaining and managing equipment and instruments

Qualifications:

  • Reliable transportation is necessary for travel to various office locations.
  • Flexibility in traveling to different sites is required.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality is critical.
  • Willingness to seek guidance in unfamiliar areas is important.
  • Capacity to identify inconsistencies is necessary.
