Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Technician to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Clinical Support Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures
  • Review patient care documentation and report any significant changes to registered nurses or physicians
  • Provide a variety of clerical tasks, including organizing workload, greeting visitors, and transcribing physician orders
  • Assist with direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and vital sign measurements
  • Reinforce routine teaching given to patients by registered nurses or physicians
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
  • Listed as a Nursing Assistant I by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Service
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Requires six (6) months of clerical or customer service experience
