Job Overview

Indiana Metal, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for cultivating and growing customer relationships, providing top-notch customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular check-ins and cold calling
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide strategic solutions
  • Promote company culture and values through customer and employee interactions
  • Effectively follow up on all leads, phone calls, and email inquiries
  • Utilize CRM to track estimates and follow-up activities
  • Assist in growing sales portfolio and building estimates for jobs
  • Collaborate with the Production Coordinator to ensure timely production and delivery schedules
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and hit sales goals through warm and cold leads
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the construction industry, including the roofing process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to efficiently use CRM for accurate production tracking
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read blueprints and Eagleviews (or other aerial reports) and provide accurate material estimates
  • Strong customer service skills, including problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced position with multiple accounts and jobs
