Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Tax Manager to join our dynamic Tax Services division. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing tax returns, ensuring tax compliance, and providing application support to achieve the best corporate tax practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
  • Review tax adjustments to financial statements to prepare returns
  • Contribute to the development of technical expertise, compliance assurance, and business acumen
  • Manage engagements, resources, people, and client expectations to achieve results
  • Handle client relationships, including communication and expectation management
  • Establish engagement project budgets and due dates
  • Complete engagements on time, on budget, with the highest quality
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation; Master's degree in taxation is a plus
  • CPA License or eligibility to take the CPA exam preferred
  • Experience using tax preparation software and applications
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills
  • Great communication skills, with the ability to convey analysis and findings to management and external clients
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, entrepreneurial atmosphere to achieve measurable results and improve existing processes
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a given time
  • Motivated to meet client deadlines and provide superior client service
  • A team player with strong relationship skills
