We are seeking a highly skilled Dosimetrist or Senior Dosimetrist to join our team at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. As a member of our Department of Radiation Oncology, you will play a critical role in providing expert and compassionate clinical care to our pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform photon and proton treatment planning with precision and accuracy
  • Support treatment planning activities, including CT and MR simulation, image registration, dose accumulation, and adaptive planning
  • Present treatment planning information at clinical conferences to ensure seamless communication with our multidisciplinary team
  • Organize and summarize treatment planning data for medical records, research, and education to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with our team to develop guidelines for clinical trials and contribute to workflow improvement, implementation of new technology, and patient safety initiatives
About Our Department

Our Department of Radiation Oncology is a full-service department dedicated to clinical research and treatment. With a mission to provide expert and compassionate care, we have the largest team in the U.S. devoted to pediatric radiation oncology.

We are proud to house the world's first proton therapy center dedicated solely to the treatment of children. Our state-of-the-art facilities include two gantry rooms and a fixed beam room, each equipped with dedicated pencil beam scanning nozzles, robotic patient positioning, and cone-beam CT.

Our clinical physics section is comprised of 6 physicists, 4 dosimetrists, 2 medical physics assistants, and an accelerator engineer. We are a collaborative and positive environment where everyone receives the resources, support, and encouragement to advance and grow their careers.
