Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting physicians in the performance of electrophysiology procedures, including catheter ablations and pacemaker implantations. You will also be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians in the performance of electrophysiology procedures
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and obtaining informed consent
  • Operate equipment, including electrophysiology machines and cardiac catheters
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including disinfecting equipment and disposing of biohazardous waste
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in a related field, such as cardiovascular technology or a related field
  • Current certification as an Electrophysiology Technician, such as the Certified Electrophysiology Technician (CET) credential
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Electrophysiology Technician
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
