Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile RV Service Technician to join our team at Wilkins RV. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks, from routine maintenance to complex repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on customer and company-owned RVs, trailers, and other equipment in accordance with factory and dealership standards.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs using a variety of tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a high level of technical competence by attending factory-sponsored training classes and service training schools, and staying up-to-date on the latest industry developments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers, dealership personnel, and vendor representatives.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by following proper safety procedures and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

  • Experience in automotive repair, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, electrical, and carpentry, with a strong background in general maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations as needed.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and tools, with a strong emphasis on safety and physical stamina.
