Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
An apprenticeship or certification from an accredited repair institution is essential. Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English is required.
Familiarity with standard repair tools and equipment is necessary, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in daily instrument repair. A solid understanding of brass, woodwind, percussion, and orchestral instruments is crucial for timely and effective repairs.Preferred Qualifications:
Four years of hands-on experience in instrument repair is advantageous. Advanced knowledge of brass, woodwind, percussion, and orchestral instruments is preferred for efficient service delivery.
Essential Attributes:
Goal-oriented with a focus on quality repairs. Ability to accept guidance from the shop manager. Strong problem-solving skills related to diagnosing and fixing instruments. Self-motivated and capable of working independently while collaborating with others in a close-knit environment.
