Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Application Engineer to join our team at U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC. As a key member of our Engineering Chain Division, you will play a critical role in providing technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical product support to customers and internal stakeholders, including product selection and application assistance.
  • Generate cost estimates and quotations using internal quotation programs and from-scratch estimates.
  • Collaborate with sales, product management, design engineering, manufacturing, and customers to ensure successful product implementation.
  • Analyze and evaluate new technologies to design new products or improve existing designs.
  • Conduct product testing for competitive analysis and establish design specifications for customer requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with 2 years of related experience or Associate's degree with 6-10 years of related experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent mathematical and reasoning skills, with ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and QAD.
  • Ability to travel up to once per quarter.
