Position Summary

GENERAL SUMMARY OF ROLE


The role involves supporting the Assistant Manager and Retail Store Manager in daily store operations and performance objectives, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals while adhering to company policies and standards.

Foster a positive workplace atmosphere that embodies Goodwill's Amazing Customer Experience (ACE) culture, core values, and mission in every interaction with colleagues, clients, and customers.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome and engage all customers warmly.
  • Assist in pricing, showcasing, and selling merchandise within the established price points.
  • Process refunds and credits in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Accurately apply discounts and promotional offers.
  • Package and prepare merchandise for customers.
  • Utilize cash registers, scanners, or other devices to finalize sales, accept payments, and manage refunds, credits, and exchanges.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation of all merchandise.
  • Monitor store activities to prevent loss and report any suspicious behavior to Loss Prevention.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the store and processing areas by adhering to good housekeeping practices.
  • Regular attendance is expected as per company policy.
  • Follow safety protocols and personnel guidelines.
  • Participate in regular team meetings.
  • Serve as a positive role model for staff, trainees, and customers in all aspects of professional conduct.
  • Carry out any additional duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include a general educational background without a high school diploma, along with 0 to 6 months of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
