Role Overview
As a Systems Engineer specializing in Enterprise Acquisition Sales, you will collaborate closely with an Account Manager focused on new customer acquisition. Your role will involve providing technical guidance and expertise throughout the customer's zero trust journey. You will be instrumental in defining technical solutions that align with critical business objectives.

  • Achieving and surpassing sales targets by crafting and executing strategic technical account plans aimed at cross-platform solutions.
  • Conducting thorough discovery processes to identify and articulate the key technical, operational, and commercial needs of prospects and clients.
  • Designing and presenting compelling technical and business-focused solutions that drive adoption and growth post-sale.
  • Exhibiting strong communication skills and the ability to influence through impactful presentations, tailored demos, and technical engagements.
  • Coordinating resources to ensure a unified approach that reflects a cohesive strategy.
  • Promoting comprehensive solutions that include PANW and/or partner professional services to ensure clients realize business value promptly.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape to effectively differentiate our leadership.
  • Continuously enhancing your technical and professional skills to increase your contributions to customer success while actively engaging within the SE community and at industry events.

Qualifications
Your background should include:

  • A deep technical understanding of data networking.
  • Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges and drive new business initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence and gain buy-in from key stakeholders in both customer-facing and internal roles; prior pre-sales experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements.
  • Experience as a quota-carrying sales engineer with a focus on SaaS/SASE/cloud/managed/on-prem offerings is highly preferred.
  • Collaboration with Customer Support teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions.
  • Experience with complex sales processes involving multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions is highly preferred.

Compensation
The compensation for this position will be based on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates receiving an offer, the expected starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) ranges from $192,000 to $264,000 annually. Additional compensation may include restricted stock units and bonuses.
