Potential Sign-On Bonus: This position may qualify for a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus with a commitment of three years.

Job Overview
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist in the Cell Therapy Laboratory and Blood Bank Department is responsible for conducting a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures, and associated tasks. This role requires the application of scientific principles alongside technical skills, procedural knowledge, and problem-solving abilities to ensure effective laboratory operations, quality control, quality assurance, maintenance of procedures/instruments, corrective actions, test result correlation, and ongoing education in clinical laboratory practices.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution and completion of a NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program, or a Bachelor’s degree with one to two years of relevant experience acceptable to the ASCP or AMT for the Medical Laboratory Scientist role.
- Preferred: Six months of experience in Blood Banking.
- Preferred: Experience in handling and processing Cell Therapy.
Certification Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist from the ASCP or AMT must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, Day Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Rotating every third weekend and holiday
- On-call every fourth weekend
- Full-time: 80 hours every two weeks
Compensation
The hourly wage for this position is competitive, with the range starting at $41.50 per hour, based on experience.
