Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport freight, ensuring the mechanical soundness of the vehicle and the safety of cargo.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any unforeseen circumstances.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours worked, miles driven, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, customer service, and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements:
  • High School degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 2 years of prior truck/commercial driving experience required.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
  • Clean driving record and a commitment to safety on and off the road.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as a team player.
  • Physical stamina and endurance to handle long hours of driving and occasional heavy lifting.
  • Willingness to adapt to new tools and systems to enhance efficiency and productivity.
