Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

At Clean Earth, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing logistics operations, and ensuring the smooth delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Dispatch vehicles on pre-set routes for each CSR daily, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Assist with routine handheld/printer availability and operations, ensuring seamless communication with customers and drivers.
  • Build and print daily routes for drivers, preparing shipping documents, route sheets, and barcode labels.
  • Monitor operations and work of all Customer Service Representatives, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Monitor and escalate Critical Incident Reports (CICs) to supervisors, ensuring prompt attention to critical issues.
  • Review driver paperwork (VCR and logbook) and file paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Debrief drivers in accordance with written SOPs, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
  • Complete consolidated manifests for trailer shipments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of services.
  • Forward VCR reports to Transportation Supervisors/Managers for maintenance requests, ensuring prompt attention to vehicle maintenance.
  • Assist drivers with any problems/issues that arise, ensuring prompt resolution and high-quality service delivery.
  • Create load sheets, prepare reviews, and stamp all manifests, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
  • Track and input DOT hours in JJ Keller and update SAP data, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Monitor company policies and procedures, communicating to staff as necessary, ensuring compliance and high-quality service delivery.
  • In the absence of a manager/supervisor, monitor and ensure that employees are performing their functions safely and productively, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Oversee and participate in the maintenance of DOT Log Files and Vehicle Condition Reports for all CSRs and equipment, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of related transportation/logistics experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of waste routing and disposal of Hazardous Materials preferred.
  • Knowledge of DOT, EPA, and State Waste Regulations preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English required.
