Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will:

  1. Coordinate cross-departmental teams and deliverables, gathering requirements for OS software releases.
  2. Provide prioritized updates to the build and integration team regarding upcoming software releases.
  3. Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize daily build tasks and address issues effectively.
  4. Manage side builds to identify and resolve critical software challenges.
  5. Oversee the delivery of beta software for various Apple devices to both customers and developers.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Project or Program Manager.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
  • Proven ability to define and execute processes effectively.
  • Self-driven and enthusiastic, with strong analytical and creative thinking skills.
  • A curious and inquisitive mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Build and Release Engineering or Release Management is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Unix programming or scripting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
At Apple, base pay is just one part of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a specified range. This role offers the potential for growth as you develop within your position. The base pay range for this role is between $132,300 and $241,500, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees have the opportunity to participate in stock programs and receive various benefits, including comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, discounts on products, and reimbursement for educational expenses related to career advancement. This role may also be eligible for bonuses or commission payments.
