About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Bowling Green, KY and Florence, SC.

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of construction project managers, quality, and commissioning professionals to ensure the successful execution of our battery manufacturing plants in the US.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive project plan, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
  • Participate and provide engineering and constructability feedback in design reviews of capital projects.
  • Establish and manage the project budget, ensuring cost control and efficiency.
  • Monitor expenditures, track financial performance, and report to senior management.
  • Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary project team, including contractors and subcontractors.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of construction, safety, quality, and commissioning professionals.
  • Implement and enforce site safety protocols.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Liaise with government agencies, local authorities, and community stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications may be preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a minimum of 9+ years in industrial projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale industrial projects.
  • Extensive experience in commissioning, quality assurance, and tool installation within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in working with corporate finance and procurement teams for approvals.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Strong leadership abilities, including team management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant software tools and technology used in commissioning, quality assurance, and project management.
