Position Summary
Cedar Gate Technologies is in search of a Healthcare Product Manager to effectively organize, prioritize, and evaluate tasks for our agile teams while actively contributing to discussions. In this role, you will collect feature requests, plan release schedules, and coordinate sprints for our healthcare claims solutions. Success in this position requires the ability to identify user requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage product launches. Ultimately, this role will support the delivery of healthcare software solutions that align with Cedar Gate's vision while advancing your career in product management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate feature requests into a comprehensive product roadmap.
  • Refine and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Create user stories and establish acceptance criteria.
  • Define sprint objectives.
  • Draft acceptance tests.
  • Coordinate releases and updates.
  • Monitor progress and address production challenges during sprints.
  • Analyze user preferences and requests.
  • Enhance our agile practices based on outcomes and client feedback.
  • Stay informed about industry trends.

Location
This position is primarily remote within the USA, with a preference for candidates residing in specific states. Hybrid work arrangements are available for those located near an office.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable product management role.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience addressing healthcare financial management challenges and aligning them with client needs.
  • Hands-on experience overseeing all phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • A technical background with familiarity in software development and web technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare claims processing, revenue cycle management, medical collections, or denial management.
  • Membership or certification from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, with reduced travel for those in specific areas.
