Electrician Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in configuring, assembling, and installing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations.
- Receive, store, and distribute materials in a cost-effective manner, adhering to company standards.
- Assess the work environment, identifying and mitigating potential hazards associated with electrical installations.
- Assist in the installation of electrical and solar systems, following drawings, specifications, and manufacturer's manuals.
- Collaborate with electricians to install brackets, hangers, conduits, wire, and electrical equipment.
- Assist in replacing faulty breakers, fuses, switches, electrical, and electronic components, and wires during periods of zero energy presence.
- Prepare electrical trenches, equipment concrete pads, and equipment supports, adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow safety codes, corporate safety programs, manufacturer's specifications, and superior instructions.
- Comply with the National Electric Code and Local State Regulations.
- Perform system commissioning, including visual inspections, mechanical testing, and electrical testing.
- Meet deadlines and work efficiently to complete tasks.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Background in electrical technology or electrical construction through an apprenticeship or formal degree program.
- Training in the basics of PV systems.
- OSHA requirements and standards.
- Ability to work under zero energy presence during electrical interventions.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record, if required to drive corporate vehicles.
- Able to travel and work overtime if required.
- Availability to take courses paid by Aireko.
