About Us:
Located in a vibrant community, Westmoreland is a leading facility providing comprehensive care for residents requiring life enrichment and high-quality medical attention. We specialize in various care services, including Respite Care, Long-term Care, Memory Care, and Rehabilitation, and have proudly served our community for over 40 years.
Compensation:
Competitive rates ranging from $35-$40 per hour for Registered Nurses (RN) and $26-$29 for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough wound assessments and management for all patients, adhering to established policies.
2. Apply current wound management theories to deliver effective patient care.
3. Develop and implement skin care programs aimed at preventing skin breakdown.
4. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure exemplary quality care.
5. Participate in quality assurance and risk prevention initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum of two years of experience in medical/surgical or rehabilitation nursing.
- Certification as a Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse (CWOCN) or Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) is essential.
