Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to provide high-quality care to our patients. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing and managing wounds, developing skin care programs, and educating patients and families on wound care and prevention.
Responsibilities:- Perform wound assessments, reassessments, and management for all patients
- Develop and implement skin care programs to prevent skin breakdown
- Provide education to patients and families on wound care and prevention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Document patient care and treatment plans
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in medical/surgical, rehabilitation nursing
- Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse (CWOCN) or Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
