Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to provide high-quality care to our patients. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing and managing wounds, developing skin care programs, and educating patients and families on wound care and prevention.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform wound assessments, reassessments, and management for all patients
  • Develop and implement skin care programs to prevent skin breakdown
  • Provide education to patients and families on wound care and prevention
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Document patient care and treatment plans
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in medical/surgical, rehabilitation nursing
  • Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse (CWOCN) or Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
